Rose Pellicano
Born in August, Italy, Rose Pellicano now lives in Garden City, New York. Rose became a freelance artist studying botanical painting in the early 1990s, then a teacher of botanical painting in 1997. She works in watercolor on paper and vellum to create delicate works that show her fine-tuned skills as a seasoned botanical painter influenced by the French botanical compositions of Robert and Redouté. She had been awarded for her work in the field.
