Catherine Watters
Born and raised in Paris, Catherine now lives near San Francisco. She paints in watercolor on paper and calfskin vellum. Her favorite subjects are fruits, she is fascinated by their vibrant color and exquisite texture. Two of her paintings will be featured in the upcoming 13th International Exhibition at the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation. Catherine’s work is included in several Florilegiums and numerous collections in the US, France and England. Her paintings appear in several books and one was recently featured in Curtis's Botanical Magazine. She is a primary instructor at the Filoli Botanical Art Certificate Program in Woodside, CA and recently received two awards from the Garden Club of America.
